VETERINARY SURGEONS

Little Lane Veterinary Clinic, Wigan - Veterinary Surgeon

At present we are looking for a part-time , qualified vet with a minimum of 1-2 years experience to fill a 9-12 month maternity vacancy, two days per week.  Little Lane is a busy, sole-charge clinic with a great team of 4 nurses in this well established site.

Rochdale Road Veterinary Clinic, Bury – Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for a part-time, qualified vet with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience to work 1 full day and two half days (evenings) at out busy town centre practice in Bury.  There is a two nurse team who are dedicated to high standards of patient and client care.

Floating Veterinary Surgeon – Bolton/Wigan & Manchester

At present we are looking for two permanent, full-time, qualified vet with a minimum of 1-2 years experience to “float” in our 10 site group covering holidays, lieu days etc. These roles would give a great amount of “locum” experience by working in areas of our Tier 1 & 2 surgeries with all the various equipment we have (digital x-ray in two sites, ultrasound in 4 sites and endoscopy in 1 site), whilst having the security of being a Regan employee.

For all the above Veterinary Surgeon roles, the job offers:

NURSING STAFF

Bury Road Clinic – Senior Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for an experienced RVN to take a Head Nurse role at our main site in Bolton.  We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our well established, modern Tier 2 Small Animal Practice.  The team at the clinic consists of 2 Vets, 2 RVN’s, 1 ANA and 2 Receptionists plus there are responsibilities for the two part time receptionists and the consulting only site approximately two miles away.  The practice has excellent facilities including digital x-ray and ultrasound.

You will be an organised individual who is able to lead and inspire the team, have great people management and communication skills and aims to achieve excellent clinical standards and customer service.  You will be able to balance hands on nursing whilst working within your own practice team as well as the usual administrative duties associated with being a head nurse and line manager.

As well as the standard head nurse and nursing duties, we would like the successful candidate to take on the following

•           Management of floating staff rotas for the group

•           Management of nurse holidays for the group

•           Head nurse appraisals

•           Return to work interviews for head nurses

•           Organisation and chairing of head nurse meetings

Previous head nursing experience is not essential but ideally you will have a number of years nursing experience in a busy practice.

There are many training opportunities in management and clinical development.

Park Veterinary Clinic,Prestwich - Registered Veterinary Nurse

We require an RVN to take a nurse role at our Prestwich surgery.   We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our very busy, well established Tier 2 Small Animal Practice with training practice status.  The team at the clinic consists of 2 Vets, 2 RVN’s, 2 ANA’s, 1 SVN and 1 Receptionist. The practice has excellent facilities including digital x-ray and ultrasound.  The candidate would have excellent communication skills who aims to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Clinical Coaching experience would be an advantage or a desire to train.

Holly House Veterinary Clinic, Hindley, Wigan - Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are also looking for an RVN to fill a nurse role at our Hindley surgery.   We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our very busy, well established Tier 2 Small Animal Practice with training practice status.  The team at the clinic consists of 3 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s and 2 Receptionists. The practice is the main surgery in Wigan and has excellent facilities including digital x-ray and ultrasound.  The candidate would have excellent communication skills who aims to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Clinical Coaching experience would be an advantage or a desire to train.

Holly House Veterinary Clinic, Hindley, Wigan - Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity Cover)

2 Registered Veterinary Nurses – Internal Locums

We also have a great opportunity for three newly qualified RVN’s to take nurse roles floating across 3-4 surgeries within our 10 site group, covering holidays etc.  We are looking for a highly motivated team members to join our group of practices.  This role would give a great amount of “locum” experience by working in a number of our surgeries whilst having the security of being a Regan employee.  The candidate would have excellent communication skills who aims to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Auxiliary Nurses – Internal Locums (Prestwich/Radcliffe/Bury & New Moston/Moston/Prestwich)

We have more opportunities for two experienced Animal Nursing Assistants.  Minimum requirement is ANA qualification. These are full time (shifts according to rota requirements), fixed term vacancies for 6 months.  Candidates will cover 2-3 surgeries for holidays, lieu days and sickness.  The candidate would have excellent communication skills who aims to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Moston Lane Veterinary Clinic, Moston, Manchester – Qualified or experienced ANA/VCA (Maternity Cover)

We require a qualified or experienced Animal Nursing Assistant/Veterinary Care Assistant for a maternity cover at our Moston Lane Clinic in Manchester, from July 2015.   This is a  fixed term vacancy for up to 12 months at our small, well established Tier 1 Small Animal Practice.  The team at the clinic consists of 1 Vet, 1 RVN, 1 ANA/VCA and 1 part-time receptionist.  The candidate would have excellent communication skills who aims to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.  The candidate must also have good animal handling skills, experience monitoring anaesthetics and experience on reception with some admin duties.  Some work may be sole charge.

Water Street Veterinary Clinic, Radcliffe – Reception /Animal Nursing Assistant or Auxiliary

We have an opportunity for a Receptionist or ANA for a fixed term (until end of September with view to becoming permanent).  The candidate must have minimum basic animal handling skills and experience on reception.

Shifts – 2-7pm Tuesday/Wednesday with potential for weekends/overtime.  Position available for immediate start.
